The left hand image shows the north of Ireland and the north of GB. The right hand image shows the south of GB. There appear to be four main areas covered by snow - The north of Scotland, the north west of Ireland, north east England and Wales.
These two images were taken from the 11.25 Terra/MODIS pass on the 28th
